Throughout our life, at school, uni and particularly in the workplace, we are often required to work in groups, either as a team member or as a leader. In fact one of ECU’s graduate attributes is teamwork. It is expected that by the time an ECU student graduates they will have good interpersonal skills and will be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively as a professional.
However, just because we often need to work in groups doesn’t necessarily mean we are all naturally good at it. Tackling a project as a group has many advantages but it also comes with its inherent problems.
