The Associate Degree of Science (Library Technology) combines a core programme, designed to prepare graduates for a paraprofessional role in the operation, maintenance and utilisation of library systems.
Students who complete the Associate Degree of Science (Library Technology) may apply to transfer to the Bachelor of Science (Library Technology) (course E65) or the Bachelor of Science (Communication and Information Technology) / Bachelor of Science (Library Technology) (course B52). They will be eligible for up to two years advanced standing in either course.
The Associate Degree of Science (Library Technology) comprises sixteen units. Students undertaking the course will complete the following units:
