The Security and Intelligence research cluster is interested in all aspects of Information Operations form the technological aspects of computer and network security to the 'softer' side involving issues such as perception management and information policy. At present, its research theme is 'deception'. The group has numerous doctoral, masters and honours candidates. Its main areas of interest are information operations, computer/network forensics, RFID security, mobile computing security, honeypots and the use of deception in security.
