The SCIS Java User Group (SCIS-JUG) has been created to provide a forum for sharing ideas and information related to Sun Microsystems’ Java technologies. The group is comprised of a broad mix of people, ranging from undergraduate and postgraduate students, academic and research staff from SCIS.
We encourage all students and staff interested in java to participate. New members are most welcome to come along to meetings or participate in our online forum available at http://forums.scissa.org.au
Regular meetings of SCIS-JUG are held at ECU’s Mt. Lawley Campus. Participants are encouraged to bring in Java related ideas, questions or problems to discuss with the group. There are also regular presentations by students and guest lecturers, where aspects of Java technologies are presented and discussed.
